Welcome
The Nicola Valley Shelter and Support Society has been offering services to individuals and families in the Nicola Valley who are either homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, since 2012.
In addition to offering direct services we have also played an active role in keeping community housing concerns top of mind in the Nicola Valley. Our volunteer board meets monthly to continue working towards improving housing supports in our area and to provide governance support to our front-line staff who offer our valuable community programs.
We are also actively involved in Merritt's Community COVID-19 Response, in partnership with the City of Merritt, BC Housing, Interior Health, and Ask Wellness.
The Nicola Valley Shelter and Support Society is looking for new volunteer board of directors. Help us by moving forwards in providing quality supportive services to individuals and families in the Nicola Valley who are homeless or at risk.
